Set in the northen part of Mill Hill this beautiful, semi-detached house was calling out for something special. Having been the family home for more than 20 years. The time had come for a major re-think and re-arrangement, to suit the changing needs of the family.
The primary ambition was to connect the living spaces of the house to the garden. The owners wanted to open up the interior space, to create a bright, spacious, modern, family-orientated kitchen / dining / living space at garden level that could be both family-centric and suitable for entertaining, connecting the house to the garden, allowing both to be useful throughout the day and throughout the year.
An elegant, timeless palette of white, grey and natural oak impart a unified character to the home, providing a quiet background for the owners’ furniture, artwork and musical instruments collected over decades.

Full size rear extension, bi-folding aluminium door and window were added to this property to create spacious and modern kitchen. Kitchen Extension adds more natural light and increase the living space. Innovative storage solutions were developed to make use of all available space. Original touches, such as ceiling extractor, lighting, complement rear kitchen extension, create a modern and natural living environment.

Woodlands Avenue is our loft extension of a Victorian house in Finchley, North London. It was driven by the will and enthusiasm of the owner, Mick, who's desire for a stylish and contemporary family home kept the project focused on achieving his goals. Our design contrasts restored Victorian interiors with a strikingly simple, modern and stylish loft extension. Dormer is clad with slates, Bespoke made timber loft door and sash window accomplish this stunning loft conversion.
